We built Frisky Business Palm Springs Cat Cafe to not only help the Palm Springs Animal Shelter get cats adopted out, but also to work hard so that we can sustain our own feline's lifestyle!

Meet our four rescues - Simba, Shadow, Luna and Puma.

SIMBA

AKA: Don Simba “Fats” Furbino.
Boss of New York based Furbino Crime Family.

Simba “Fats” Furbino was once the boss of the underground cat mafia family known as The Furbino Family. He spent his days running back alley deals with the local dog and cat gangs for whatever treats he could find. After a run-in with a particularly nasty dog, he found him and his hitman-brother, Shadow, on the run from the city life.

​They both joined the Witness Protection program where they were placed with Mr and Mrs Frisky where they can stay safe…and out of trouble.

SHADOW

AKA: Luciano “Shadow” Furbino.
​Hitman of the Furbino Crime Family.

Luciano “ Shadow” Furbino was an infamous Hitman in the New York based Furbino Crime Family. His cool demeanor and stealth earned him the nickname Shadow from his brother and boss of the Furbino Family, Simba Furbino.

One time, while a job for the Family, Shadow made the only mistake of his career when a laser light grabbed his attention and blew the gig, making him and his brother targets of a well-known local dog gang ran by Ol’ Willy Two Bones.

​On the run and in desperation, Shadow and his brother Simba joined the Witness Protection Program and were placed with Mr and Mrs Frisky, where Shadow now spends his days in search of that damned laser light.

PUMA

AKA: Franky "Puma" O'Donnel.

Franky “Puma” O’Donnel was a street orphan in the streets of Boston. No known family or relatives, he grew up in the southy gangs of Boston and dreamed of a better life with the cats of San Francisco. 
​
After battling a Pistachio addiction which nearly got him pinched by the local pound, he decided to hitchhike his way across America. He landed a gig with Mr and Mrs Frisky, where he spends his days chasing pistachios and dreaming of San Francisco.

LUNA

AKA: Loose "Luna" Bordeaux 

“Loose” Luna Bordeaux is a former burlesque dancer at The Alley Cat Gentlemen’s Club in New Orleans.

After a particular customer fell helplessly in love with her and relentlessly pursued her affection, she ran away to Hollywood to become an actress and escape the dangers of city life.

On her way to movie town, she came across Mr and Mrs Frisky, and after staying a few nights to rest, she fell helplessly in love with a cat she met named Simba.

She now hustles lap dances and spends her nights with her former mob boss love interest, Simba.
